Structured Wiring
Design of structured wiring systems has been a major service provided by the Paradise Communications for several years. Structured wiring consists of distribution and riser cabling for voice, data, and video systems. Typical media consists of fiber optic cable, twisted pair cable, and coaxial cable. Sound engineering for structured wiring systems also must include the pathways and spaces (i.e., raceways and wiring closets) necessary to deliver the cables to the outlets. All designs are completed using the guidance of widely accepted EIA/TIA standards 568, 569, 606, and 607 as well as the BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Service International) Telecommunications Design Manual standards. An especially challenging aspect of completing designs in campus environments is the necessity to adhere to these standards while designing systems to be installed in existing buildings, many of which are not easily adaptable to standards which are generally intended for cabling of new buildings.
Commercial Building and Campus-Wide Infrastructure and Cabling
We have had extensive experience in Commercial Building and campus-wide infrastructure projects, including fiber optic, twisted pair, and coaxial cabling plants. Our consultants and Engineers have been working with firms on Over a 15 years on both Inside and Outside Cable Plant design and Implementations. We've managed the installation and design of miles of underground and direct buried fiber optic, voice, and coax cabling. This experience serves us well in completing similar projects for numerous commercial and educational facilities. Many of these projects included the design of the underground duct bank systems, which provide the pathways for the new cabling to be installed between building and to provide Fiber rings around the campus.
