Construction Documents

This is an excellent example of what to look for in detailed construction documents.  This examsple shows not only a clear layout, but also has all speciifciations so that the workers in the field can easily buidld out what has been designed and approved. 

This phase constitutes the preparation of construction documents, submitting these plans to the City and, where appropriate, other jurisdictions. Also, during the time the plans are in the City being reviewed, a final review of the bids can take place in order to select a General Contractor. As soon as the contractor is selected and the plans are approved from the City construction can commence.
