Senior Technical Project Manager

Paradise Communications Senior Technical Project Managers have years of business expertise in addition to their Information Technology and Telecommunications backgrounds.  The senior project manager will provide a significant level of competence to any technology project they undertake.   They have a unique ability to leverage their technical backgrounds with their strong business management experiences, providing clear communications between a number of different disciplines,.   This is often a key contributing factor to their success in many of the technology centric project we undertake. 

 

Many of our projects require a cross functional approach which involves a number of different organizations and a variety of players on the project team, many with different expectations for the project.  the senior Project manager must bring a cohesive team together, clarify the goal of the project and keep all of the team members focused on the business objectives, their independent roles and contributions to the project to insure that everything is completed on time with the desire results.

 

We are often working on a number of simultaneous projects, with different timelines and utilize a strong management approach to maintaining the correct priorities to each of the projects.  Our personal commitment to the success of each project to meet the clients needs along with a sense of urgency and ownership to drive project to completion is critical to the success of every project.  Since all of our staff are senior level engineers and project managers they all have years of disciplined project management experience in the high tech industry with increasing demonstrated responsibility and success.

All of our Senior Project Managers have years of experience and a deep understanding and working knowledge of successful business practices and current computer, Information Technology, Telecommunications Infrastructure including Wireless VOIP and Internet commerce.   • 10 plus years of management experience managing project managers or similar teams
  • Experience in managing small, mid and large-scale projects is required
  • Experience with large PBX, IT infrastructure, Telecommunications and network projects
  • Experience with large network operations environments such as found in telecom, and business firms
  • Experience in problem solving, process improvement methods, and business re-engineering methods
  • Ability to define project management processes, tools and templates as required for the project
  • Supporters of project management discipline and practices, Use of Project Management Office Tools
  • Focus on Team Building and Vendor Management to involve peers, managers, executives, and other teams
  • Use of Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills required
  • Deliver Clear presentations and expectations of the proposed technical concepts and plans
  • Network, Telecommunications, Voice and Data technology knowledge desirable held by most PM's
  • Understand and represent Operations' management's perspective, issues, and requirements
  • Most PM's have degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, with business experience
  • Skilled in the use of project planning tools such as Microsoft Project or similar tools
